COMPASSIONATE BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT WITH AN EXPERIENCED LACTATION CONSULTANT AND LABOR NURSE

Serving southwest Kansas and northwest Oklahoma

Services

Breastfeeding is a natural, biological process, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy or comes naturally. I can support you at every step of your breastfeeding journey - before baby is born to the last latch. Here are common reasons to seek lactation support:

  • Latching difficulty

  • Nipple pain

  • Using a nipple shield

  • Milk supply concerns

  • Slow infant weight gain

  • Supplementation

  • Tongue ties

  • Pumping

  • Flange fits

  • Preterm infants

  • Questions before baby arrives

  • 1-2 hour visit where I will come to you with all my supplies - including a scale! We will go over the health history of you and your baby, assess a feeding, do a weighted feed, assess your baby’s oral function, and come up with a plan that is tailored to your feeding goals.

  • 1-1.5 hours visit via secure video conferencing for follow up care, pumping questions, and prenatal consults.

  • 1-1.5 hour visit either in home or virtual! We will cover all the basics of breastfeeding, latching, positioning, pumping, common difficulties, and I’ll answer all your questions so you feel prepared before your baby arrives!

  • 1-1.5 hour visit either in home or virtual. We will cover how to use your pump, flange sizing, milk storage, and bottle feeding.
